SA50 "S" or "SR" USA Model
This is the "Right" Drive Belt for your 1994 thru 2001 Honda Elite 50 S or SR (SA50).
If you look up original drive belt online or call your local Honda Dealer, and ask them for the part number for the 1994 thru 2001 Elite 50 S or SR (SA50), they will tell you the part number is
23100-GG2-751.
The "Right" size of the belt is 641X15.5X30 And the Drive Belt is Made in Japan by BANDO.
There are many sellers offering the Dio Drive Belt which is 654X18x30 and claiming they fit everything from 1988~2001 Elite 50 LX, S or SR, Dio 50 af18, af27 Dio ZX50 and others.
The truth is the Drive Belt 654X18X30 is too wide because it is made for the af28 Dio ZX50 or SYM DD50.
This belt will "only" work in your 94~01 Elite 50 S or SR if you have already installed what many call a ZX Trans. This is a larger rear pulley, a longer pulley Boss and ZX drive face.
If you have the original
genuine
Honda Elite 50 trans (rear pulley & Boss), their Dio Drive belt is too wide. Have seen this many times when customers come in to the shop and ask why they installed a new drive belt and their Elite S or SR ran slower now.
It is because the Drive Belt is too wide. A Dio ZX50 uses a wider Drive Belt because the ZX trans uses a bigger rear pulley and longer pulley Boss. The wider 18mm Drive belt will not sit all the way down on the front pulley. So you start off on a taller ratio. They make different drive belts for a reason. One belt don't fit all....
Also, if you are going to buy a Drive Belt for your 1994 thru 2001 Elite 50 S or SR, buy a BANDO  made in Japan drive belt. You can not go wrong. If it is good enough for HONDA to install them in their new scoots, there is a reason why. They can handle the heat, and endure the stress. And long lasting. Buy a cheap off brand Drive Belt and you will be pushing your scoot home when it breaks.
