Uncommon Hammered Sterling Silver .925 Ashtray With Flame Holder

Unusual hammered sterling silver ashtray.  The ashtray has a rest for a cigar and what seems to be a match holder or possibly a holder for a small candle for relighting one's cigar.  Very interesting!  Mark of G.H. French, which was in business in Attleboro, Massachusetts (home of so many fine silver manufacturers) from about 1920-1939.
Condition:  excellent vintage condition.
Dimensions:  3 3/4"W x 3"D x 1 1/4"H; 24 grams.
